Meet Stephen LéChance – Owner & Master Stylist at LéChance Hair Studio Originally from the scenic town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Stephen LéChance brings a unique and inclusive approach to the hair industry as the founder of LéChance Hair Studio in Raleigh. A proud graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, Stephen has been shaping styles and redefining hair experiences in Raleigh for over 12 years. Stephen identifies as an alternative stylist—but not just in the way you might expect. For him, “alternative” isn’t just about edgy cuts or bold colors (though he loves those too). It’s about breaking the norm of traditional salons. It’s about creating a space that welcomes everyone—every hair type, every style, every personality. His mission is to meet clients exactly where they are, with the services, creativity, and care they deserve. With a passion for Highlighting, Color Melting, and Fashion Colors, Stephen also thrives in the art of the haircut. Whether it’s a sharp men’s fade, a playful pixie, or a flowing razor cut, his creativity has no limits—and no haircut ever bores him. Outside the salon, you’ll find Stephen surrounded by his 18 beloved pets, relaxing with video games, enjoying long walks, or dreaming up his next Disney vacation. Life happens—we get it! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify LéChance Hair Studio at 919-270-8308 or do so online at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be charged 50% of the service total.
